This week I killed it! I’m finally out of my slump thanks to P90X. Yep, I started this bad boy on Monday. I borrowed some of the disks from a friend. She doesn’t have the whole set so I’m winging it until my full set comes. Thanks Kristen! And it’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Yes, it is tough and tiring and demanding. But I didn’t feel like I was going to die. I think the program is going to work out great for me.
I did P90X Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I also ran 1.4 miles on the treadmill, Zumba, and Ab Ripper X on Wednesday. Yep, Wed was a great fitness day for me. I think I was trying to burn off my nerves preparing for the next morning. I had a segment on Good Day Tampa Bay. I’ll post more about that later. I took yesterday off, not intentionally. I just had a busy day and couldn’t squeeze in any fitness. Today I’m going to run intervals at the gym.
Sunday I have my first 5k since Mud Endeavor. I’m a little nervous. I have not ran outside since Mud Endeavor. But I’ve been cross training like a mad woman so hopefully that pays off. I’m finally getting new shoes tomorrow!! John and the boys are going to All Pro Dads in the morning and I’m going to Fit2Run. Can’t wait to take care of my feet with a new pair of kicks.
My eating was very clean this week. I’m still amping up the protein and feeling great. P90X has a diet. I’m not following it spot on but I’m sticking fairly close. I did have two glasses of wine and half a glass of champagne last night. But it was National Moms Night. I wasn’t going to pass up a good time! I’ll work it off today. I also found yesterday I am now a Sweat Pink Ambassador!! I’m so excited!!
