Here we are back at Friday once again. This week was a great one. I started a Diet Bet on Monday. I was really on the fence about it. I decided at the last minute it would be the extra little push I need. The pot is up to $13,000. Not too shabby. I vowed to do four days at the gym and three runs. What I didn’t take into account was my Monday Body Works
ass whoopin class.
Oh Body Works. I love you and hate you at the same time. I started Monday with sprints. Then it was time for class. I haven’t been to BW in a few weeks. We did about 200 squats and lunges. I was feeling good. Then the lactic acid settled in. Ouch! I’ve been limping around ever since. My quads hurt so bad. I took Tuesday off. John and I did a 4 mile trail run on Wednesday. Probably not the best idea because my quads were not ready.

Thursday was another Body Works day. Nope, not happening. Logan and I did some mall walking instead. It helped to loosen up my quads. I’ll be back to Zumba today. Tomorrow I’ll do something here, maybe Zumba on the Xbox. Sunday John and I will run. So my week didn’t go exactly as planned but I still feel pretty good about it.
Mud Endeavor is next weekend! Wow, I can’t believe it’s here already. I also have a photo shoot next Sunday for the new blog. I feel so official :) So those two things have given me motivation I need to push through cravings and keep my eating clean. Got to keep the muffin top in check.
