We had a very busy but super fun weekend. Saturday we woke up bright and early to head downtown to the Glazer Children’s Museum. They had a special Easter event going on. It included an egg hunt, breakfast, and the Easter Bunny! John was even able to rearrange his schedule and go with us. The wilds were so excited.
As soon we got in the wilds went crazy running around looking for eggs. They got a hand full and we headed to level 2. They collected their 10 eggs and then we went to level 3 to turn them in and to have breakfast. I love how the museum did the egg hunt. Each child could collect a maximum of 10 eggs to then be turned in for a prize. It was easy and fun.
Before grabbing breakfast the boys got to meet the Easter Bunny. I was very curious to see how Logan would react. He walked up and climbed right into the bunny’s lap. No hesitation at all. Logan is seriously the most laid back child ever. We snapped a few pictures, got some high fives, and then got in line to get breakfast.
They had donuts, muffins, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. The wilds opted for muffins. We also had juice and coffee. It was set up very nicely. The line moved very quickly. We sat down and enjoyed breakfast together. We met up with Sheriss and her family while we were there. It was nice to meet her husband and visit with them for a bit.
After breakfast John had to leave to go to work. We said our goodbyes and then it was time for the wilds to explore the museum. We have been to Glazer a few times. The boys always enjoy it. I think their favorite part is the fire truck. They love sitting in the truck and driving. They even put the fire hats on this time. After about an hour of play it was time to head home. We had a birthday party to attend later that afternoon. It was a busy day for my lovies.
I’ll post part 2 of Easter Weekend tomorrow.
