Piney Acres hosted my family and I for a preview of their fall festival in exchange for this post.
Friday night John, the wilds and I headed out to Piney Acres for a preview of their fall festival. It was the perfect night. Not too hot not too cold. We have gotten our Christmas Tree from Piney Acres the past couple of years but have never visited in the fall. I was very pleased! We had a wonderful time learning all about the history of the farm.
They have added on a 2000 square foot addition this year. The addition has a kitchen and a beautiful stone fireplace. They brought on a personal chef to cook up some yummy eats for their guests. We got to preview a couple of the menu items. We tried the pulled chicken and the bread pudding. Talk about delicious! The chicken had just the right amount of smokey goodness. The bread pudding was the show stopper. It literally melts in your mouth.
The boys got to check out several of the activities. They tried out the barnyard tumbler, the jump pad, the duck races, and the race track. The also climbed all over the jungle gym and really enjoyed the animals in the petting farm. We ran through the corn maze. My favorite part was the hayride. I just love a hayride. It brings me back to my childhood. Our guide told us all about the farm and what they are famous for — Christmas trees.
