Tuesday night we headed to Williamsburg to make our annual trip to Busch Gardens for Christmas Town. It’s a little over an hour from us. This year did not disappoint. It was a little strange that it was in the 50s and last year we were frozen ice cubes. This weather has been so crazy. It is supposed to be 70 on Christmas.
The boys love looking at all the lights. They do a wonderful job of decorating the park. They bring in hundreds of real trees and it all smells amazing. There are different shows and carolers walking around. And you can’t forget the treats. We had these delicious fried donuts. We also got our refillable mug for the hot cocoa. You can’t do Christmas Town without hot cocoa.
Santa was so great with the boys. They told him their list. Nathan was telling him about Star Wars Legos and Santa was very interested and told him his favorite characters. That made Nathan’s night that Santa knew all about Star Wars. It was very cute and something I’m sure he will always remember.
We had such a great time. My favorite part was the end of the night. We watched an ice skating show called “Twas That Night”. The star was World-champion figure skater Elvis Stojko. He was really good. All the skaters were great and it was so fun to watch. I was mesmerized by the show.
If you get a chance to visit Christmas Town go! You won’t be disappointed.
