I was given a complimentary dinner from Bonefish Grill to check out the fall menu. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Monday night the wilds and I met John at Bonefish Grill for dinner. It’s been awhile since we’ve been out for anything other than pizza. It was a nice change. The restaurant was nice and cozy. We were promptly seated in a very comfortable booth.
I will say my boys are pretty picky eaters. After looking at the appetizers I felt like the Wagyu Beef + Ginger Potstickers would be the best bet. Wow, was it a good choice. They were seasoned to perfection. Surprisingly out of the 6 potstickers Nathan ate three of them. Told you they were good.
John and I both ordered wood grilled steaks. He chose the filet and I went for the sirloin. Both steaks were beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. I added a Maryland style crab cake to my dinner. I ate every single bite. The seasonal veggie was caramelized apple ginger spaghetti squash. The flavor combo was delicious. John is not a big veggie fan and he loved it. I ordered the garlic whipped potatoes and John order the potatoes au gratin. My potatoes were good but the au gratin was great.
You can’t leave dinner without dessert. We opted for two. Of course we ordered the pumpkin brûlée. It was like a silky pumpkin pie. Have I ever mentioned that pumpkin pie is my favorite? The boys love chocolate. We also ordered the macadamia nut brownie. It is a flourless brownie served with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream. I was able to snag one bite before the wilds devoured it.
We had a great dinner. It’s nice to get out and try restaurants that we do not visit often. The fall menu is great and has something for everyone. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Have you ever tried pumpkin brûlée?
