Sunday the weather was absolutely gorgeous here in Virginia. We drove out to the Nucklos Christmas Tree Plantation. It is a family owned and operated cut your own tree farm. We had so much fun. The farm is huge! Much better place than where we went last year. The wilds loved running around looking for the perfect tree.
We took our time checking out all the trees. There were several different types. We finally decided on a beautiful white pine. John and the boys sawed it down. John lugged it back up to the shed. They shook it and bagged it. We couldn’t wait to get home and decorate it.
We may have underestimated it’s size a bit. The tree is huge! It’s 9.5 feet tall by 25.5 feet around! Crazy! Thankfully with a little trimming, tucking, and tugging we got it to work in our living room. It’s beautiful and we all love it.
Do you do a real tree or an artificial tree?
