I promised you a Fall Home Tour and I’m here to deliver. Looking through my decorations I did not have many items for Fall. So I went to AC Moore and let my creative juices flow. I had so much fun! I think today I’ll get out all my Halloween decor too. The wilds go crazy for it.
In our main entry way where I’ve set up an old dresser. My next project is the actual dresser. I really want to paint it and change the pulls. For now it holds some of my decorations. I like to change it out with the seasons. I just love the miniature hay bails at the craft stores. I just knew I needed one. I spruced it up with lots of goodies. It turned out super cute if I do say so myself.
Next up is the front door. I love a good wreath. They can be super expensive. It is super easy to make your own! I think I paid maybe $10 to make mine. And the bulk of that cost was the deco mesh. If you already have some you can make it for under $5. I started with a basic straw wreath. I wrapped it in the deco mesh. I then painted the wooden K. Because I’m obsessed with K’s remember? I hot glued the K onto the wreath. I found the little scarecrow for a dollar. I hot glued him on and voila!
My decorations are not compete until the mantel is finished. The mantel is probably my favorite part of the house to decorate. I like to keep it simple. It’s so much fun to change it up. The K (told you!) and the owl are staples that do not change.
As you can see I have a thing for pumpkins. But doesn’t everyone? There are still a few more items I’d like to add I just haven’t found them yet. I want to get pillow covers, place mats, and a garden flag. Do you change our your decorations when the seasons change?
