Happy Independence Day! It has been a whirlwind month for me. We have been on the go nonstop! As much as I have enjoyed it, I’m looking forward to some downtime. This weeks topic is favorite gear.
I love my Polar. I have a Polar FT7 Heart Rate Monitor . John got it for me for Christmas. It tells me my heart rate and how many calories I am burning. It also stores all the data and I can access it later. I can compare my workouts. I love that I can see how hard I’m actually working during my workouts.
Another one of my favorites is my Road ID. John and I both have them. This is very important. Who runs with their wallet? Or even just your ID? Most of you would probably answer no. With Road ID it’s a stylish and easy way to get you help in case you need it. They have many options to customize it and really make it yours.
I’ve talked about shoes before but I just can’t say enough about my Nike Dual Fusion Lites. They really are the most comfortable shoes I have ever ran in. Also, they are affordable. I spent way too much money on my Asics that I never wear. Good shoes are the single most important component to running. Keep your feet happy :)
My favorite shorts to run in are Nike Tempos. The built in liner is a lifesaver. There is nothing worse than your underwear riding up while you are running. I don’t have that issue with these shorts. The liner stays put and it’s one less thing I have to worry about. They also come in so many different fun colors and patterns.
These are some of my favorite fitness items. I can’t wait to see yours! Next week let’s talk fuel. What are some of your favorite fitness fuels. This could be food, supplements, hydration, recovery, etc. Whatever fuels you in your fitness.

Don’t forget to use the button or a text link back to my blog. Jump around and meet some new friends. We are all in this together!
That’s what I loved about my HR monitor too! :] It’s kinda awesome to have instant feedback/something that logs your progress.
I’ve heard so many good things about Nike Tempos! :] I have two pairs of Old Navy’s knock-off version because they went on sale for $5 each (:D!), heh heh heh.
I picked my heart rate monitor too! I’ve been looking to upgrade my heart rate monitor and the FT7 looks perfect.
I need a heart rate monitor. Never thought of using one to tell the truth! –Hanna Lei
I love my polar watch it keeps me going when I want to quit or give up. Ill have to give the shoes a try. Im a Nike girl and recently have the Nike Free and love them.
Shakey has been a GODSEND for us as a fuel source and overall nutrition super scoop! Haha that’s my name for it: Super Food SUPER SCOOP!
