Tuesday I got confirmation that my CT scan was negative! That's a huge weight lifted off. I have one more test, a kidney ultrasound. If that comes back negative the reason for my elevated BP will remain unknown. 95% off people with high BP never know the cause.
My diet was decent this week. I didn't eat enough fruit. With the DASH I'm supposed to eat 4 servings of fruit a day. It's tougher than you think unless I drink a smoothie every day. I did try a new eggplant recipes that was awesome. I'll share it later on the blog.
All in all I feel good this week. The doctor said I need to drink more water which I already know. I just never get thirsty. I'm working on having water with me all the time.

Girlfriend...I am so bad about drinking water! but like you I never feel thirsty so it isn't something I even think about! I have to just start filling a bottle every day and have it on the counter so I can see it. Great job working out and I am still SO HAPPY about your test results! Praying the others are negative too.
You can do it! The DASH diet is really hard to follow, but so rewarding when you see results. Hang in there.
I am going to have to look into DASH! When I drink water, I feel so much better...I just don't know why it seems like a chore!

I find if I have a cup with a straw in it, I'll drink much more water, plus the ones with lids & straws are easy to take with you everywhere and refill.
