I'm a day late to link up. Better late than never. This was a pretty decent week for me. I made it to the gym 3 out of 5 days. I mall walked one day. The only day I took off was Thursday. We went and walked around John's Pass so I still active.
Tuesday I got confirmation that my CT scan was negative! That's a huge weight lifted off. I have one more test, a kidney ultrasound. If that comes back negative the reason for my elevated BP will remain unknown. 95% off people with high BP never know the cause.
My diet was decent this week. I didn't eat enough fruit. With the DASH I'm supposed to eat 4 servings of fruit a day. It's tougher than you think unless I drink a smoothie every day. I did try a new eggplant recipes that was awesome. I'll share it later on the blog.
All in all I feel good this week. The doctor said I need to drink more water which I already know. I just never get thirsty. I'm working on having water with me all the time.
