Food is my weakness. Yes, all of it. The beginning of last year I started tracking my calories. It worked really well and helped me lose 10 lbs. I am proud to say that most of it has stayed off. I was afraid the holidays really set me back. But in reality it wasn’t so bad.
I’m back into my routine of eating cleaner. I did the Dr. Oz 3 day cleanse. Well sorta. My body needs more than just detox drinks to function properly. So while I didn’t follow the plan exactly, I am happy with the results. I’m going to continue having one of the drinks for breakfast every day.
I have really curbed my cravings which is huge for me. I’ve mentioned before that I’m a snacker. I would rather snack all day than eat full meals. I’m trying to get away from that. I’m also making better snack decisions. I’m retraining my brain so to speak.
So far so good. We are now 8 days into the new year. Today will be my 4th day at the gym. I’ll take 50%. When I’m exercising my body wants healthy food. I don’t want to wreck all my hard work at the gym by stuffing my face with unhealthy food. I”m also going to start meal planning again. It is much easier to eat better when everything is planned out.
