Today is Nathan’s 4th Birthday. How could it already be 4 years since this precious little being came into this world? I will never forget the first time I touched Nathan. They held him up for me to see. I reached out and he was so warm, wet, and wonderful. I was overtaken with emotions and started bawling hysterically. I was crying so hard the doctor thought something was wrong. Nothing was wrong. Everything was absolutely perfect.
Your first birthday we celebrated in Orlando with all of our friends. We had an ice cream party. You weren’t too sure about your cake. We felts so much love that day.
Your 2nd birthday we were in Tampa. It was Toy Story theme. We set up all of your gifts and decorations during your nap. When you woke up and found everything you were so surprised and happy!
Your 3rd birthday we took you to Disney for a few days. You had a blast. We did a dinosaur theme. This was the first year you really understood the whole birthday thing.
This year Mom & Dad are so proud of the big boy you are becoming. You will be going to preschool next month. This is exciting and scary for me at the same time. I love you so much and look forward to watching you learn and grow. It’s scary because we have been together almost every single day since the day you were born. It’s hard for Mommy to let go. You will always be my baby, my first born. Nathan, I just want you to always remember how special you are to Daddy and me. No matter what happens in life we love you so much. Happy 4th Birthday Boo!
