John is from Cincinnati. If you are from Cincy or know someone who is I need not go any further. They are their own breed. And I say that in a loving way. It’s all about family, friends, the food, and the sports teams. Cincinnati runs through his blood.
Wishing all the Dads out there a very special Happy Father’s Day!
I had a different post typed up for today. But decided I want to do a whole post dedicated to my wonderful hubs! So read along to find out everything you ever wanted to know about my better half :)
He is the hardest working man (other than my father) that I have ever met. He knows what he wants in life and isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. He is passionate about life, love, and his work. John does whatever it takes to get the job done and to provide for the boys and I.
He loves the outdoors. He has recently taken up running and hasn’t stopped. He is a machine! 99% of the time he wakes up with a smile on his face. And you will never hear him talk bad about another person. He always gives people the benefit of the doubt.
John is very traditional. He absolutely loves Christmas. He is the oldest of three boys. He can come off as very sarcastic and a no nonsense type of guy. But get him home with the boys and I and he’s a total softy.
John works very hard. So when he has some time off, he plays hard. He loves sitting on the patio, beer or bourbon in hand, smoking a cigar. I feel that is when he is the most relaxed.
He adores the boys and I. There is no doubt in my mind that God handpicked him for me. I truly am blessed to have found my one true love. How awesome that I get to walk through life with such an amazing partner!
Happy Father’s Day to my love! Thanks for being such a great Daddy to our boys :)
