Clif Bar had a contest on twitter. All you had to do was tweet that you would like to do the race at Disney. They were going to draw two random winners. Well, I was one of the winners! Tickets for this race are $109 and sold out! What a great win and all I had to do was send a tweet!

Just after sunset, individuals and teams of two will brave the mysteries of a thrilling 5K trek held in the shadows of the Forbidden Mountain. Teams will have to overcome treacherous obstacles lying in their path and scavenge for clues along their journey to be able to solve the mystery of the mountain in the end. But beware of the Yeti, the abominable snowman that guards the Forbidden Mountain! Escape from the clutches of the Yeti and celebrate conquering this Everest Challenge with an exclusive after-hours party at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.
Sounds awesome right? Well now here's the tricky part. I only won one ticket and the race is sold out. I really didn't want to do this on my own. So I contacted the other contest winner. She was happy to team up. A couple days later she told me she can't make the race. So she offered me her entry. Score! Next problem, she wanted way too much for her free ticket. After numerous negotiations we finally came to an agreement. Yay! A ticket for John.
We are registered and all set to go on May 5th. We will be missing the Derby. But how many chances do you get to run a race at Disney for free? I'm super pumped but not sure if John and I will even run together. Since the race was sold out Disney won't transfer us to a team instead of singles. I'm just praying we are in the same wave.
