I started Week 5 of my training program Tuesday. Let me just say, I need to run every other day and not every couple of days. It was rough. But there were hurricane like winds blowing at me (not really, but it felt like it). And I ran with a water bottle for the first time. It totally threw me off. Ok, ok enough of the excuses. Again, bottom line I need to run every other day.
On the food side of things I’m doing great. My cravings and what sounds good to eat have completely changed. I read labels. I am very conscious about everything I put into my body. And I feel really good about it. Right now I’m addicted to the Skinny Green Monster. I have to have one every day. So good! And Logan loves green smoothies as much as I do (of course his do not have pb in them).
I am also not really restricting myself from anything. If I want it, I eat it. Nothing is off limits. Everything in moderation my dears. But going back to my cravings, I’m not craving much. I am just making sure to stick to my 1200 calories a day (and if I work out or run I get to eat a few extra calories). I even had a small Shamrock Shake yesterday and still weighed in a half a pound lighter this morning. So I’m down about 5 lbs. Right on schedule with my one pound weight loss goal a week. 5 down 5 to go!
