We had a very nice low key Thanksgiving. We got a HoneyBaked ham and turkey. I fixed non traditional sides. John invited over one of his MITs, Andy, since his family is in Illinois. It was a great meal with great company. John was in bed by 6:30 and Nathan followed soon after. I got Logan down at about 9:00 and then I went to bed. It was nice for everyone to get to bed early.
Yeterday was Black Friday. John had to be up at 1AM so he could be at work by three. All in all I think it was a successful day. He said there were a few bumps in the road but they survived. About 800 people were waiting in line to get in before they opened. That is just crazy to me but the more the merrier for business!! I know I sound like a broken record but I am very proud of my awesome husband! The lengths he goes to in order to provide for us is unreal. And I really appreciate him! He gives me the best gift I could ever ask for everyday…I get to stay home and raise our beautiful boys :)
I want to post a couple things Nathan has said in the past week. One day I won’t remember the little things and I want to look back and be reminded. The other day I said I miss Daddy. Nathan said I miss Dada too. Yesterday Logan was crying and I told Nathan to ask him what was wrong. He started patting him on the chest saying calm down baby, calm down. And today Logan was crying and Nathan said go away baby, I’m trying to watch this. I gave Logan his paci and told Nathan to be nice. Logan stopped crying and Nathan said Oh nevermind, thanks Mama. He surprises me on a daily basis :)
Tomorrow is my golden bday. 28 on the 28th! I have everything I need this year. An amazing husband, two awesome sons, and everyone is in good health! All in all it has been a great year. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us in the coming year!
