We had a pretty good week! Tuesday I got back to bible study. I hadn’t been in awhile because Nathan was sick and then we had a lot going on. Wednesday Nathan and I celebrated Cinco De Mayo in Orlando. It was great to see all of our friends and catch up. Nathan had a blast at the splash pad! He was pretty worn out and slept the whole way home. Then that evening after John got off work we went to Bdubs. For some reason Nathan is starting to act up when we go out to eat. It seems that nothing keeps his attention or makes him happy. He likes to shout, scream, and throw things. I think we have officially hit the terrible twos. Lord help us!
Emily and Matt got here yesterday. We all took Nathan to the pool and then grilled out. It was great to spend some time with them. Nathan calls both of them Emmie. We kept trying to get him to say Matt but he insisted they are both Emmie. He was sad when they left but we’ll see them again later in the week.
Sleeping is still a major issue. Every time I think we are getting somewhere I feel we take a few steps back. On the bright side he is starting out in his own bed every night. I still have to stay in there until he falls asleep but at least it’s a start. But he still doesn’t sleep through the night and ends up in our bed. I only have four months to nip this in the bud. I’m really trying. And I was holding off on potty training until his sleeping was down but I’m running out of time. So I think I’m going to really start the process. I just don’t want to overwhelm him. We’ll see how it all works out.
Baby boy #2 needs a name! I want to start referring to him as a real person and not just the fetus in my body. Ahhh four months!! This pregnancy is flying by. Everyone said the second one would go so much faster and they were right. I’m trying to cherish every moment since this is my last.
